Summary

The openssl Homebrew package installs OpenSSL 1.0.x, whereas bitcoind
requires OpenSSL 1.1.x. Homebrew can install 1.1.x if it is specified
explicitly. The docs and autoconf config have been updated to do this.

I have an issue with my local environment that requires me to re-create these patches (this and D1614). I am abandoning and re-creating.
